Publication Progress Viewer

The Publication Progress Viewer is a display window that gives the user an insight to the actions taking place on a publication. It works automatically whenever a publication is taking place and the data displayed pertains to what is actually happening at run-time on the publication server.

Publication Progress Viewer Location

The Publication Progress Viewer can be found on the Publication page of the Administration Tab.

Publication Progress Viewer Views

By default, the Publication Progress Viewer appears grayed out when no publication is running.

No Publications in progress or queued

When a publication is queued, the circle under Publications Not Started turns red and the names of the libraries queueing for publication are displayed.

Publication queued

Once a publication has begun, the circle under Publication in Progress turns green and the progress for current publication is displayed.

Publication in progress

Once the publication has finished, the Publication Progress Viewer will either return to its default state, or it will start displaying the information for the next publication in the queue.
